Mike Kraatz

Service Advisor – 1/2/2020 Mike began in automotive business as a junior in high school in Vo-Tech School. He then moved to Dallas, TX in 1985 and started changing oil and busting tires at a Texaco station. He worked hard and became ASE certified technician before getting into management.

Mike says, “I have gotten priceless knowledge and experience from many different industry professionals from dealerships as well as independent facilities. I truly believe my passion for quality work and industry leading customer service led me to Sallas Auto Repair. I have found that their #1 thing is exactly that. Provide top quality professional automotive repair service and at the same time provide the industry leading customer service.

I feel my best assets that I provide for Sallas Auto is my desire for every customer to have the best experience possible. Automotive repairs can be very stressful and frightening for some customers. Customer’s vehicles are one of the largest investments they make in their life and they are trusting them to us. It is our moral and ethical responsibility to treat each and every customer with the utmost respect as we ourselves would want to be treated.”

Mike enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, nature, and off roading. He also enjoys spending time with his family. Mike is happily married to his wife Janet and they have been married going on 26 years now.

Chase Overton

Service Advisor – Start Date 2/3/2020 One of Chase’s great assets is his people skills. We see him in action everyday with customers taking the time to solve their car problems, really taking time and finding out what they need. Chase graduated from UMKC in 2019 with a Business Degree allowing him to also bring business knowledge to the front office keeping things professional.  When Chase came on board as a service advisor, we noticed right away his communication skills were a real bonus for our customers and his ability to relate to their situation is incredibly valuable. Chase loves spending time with his wife Madison and their dog Mac. Chase is eager to assist with any of your car care needs.

Noel Neussle

Service Advisor Assistant– Start Date 8/4/2020 Noel started his time at Sallas Auto as a porter back around 2005 when he was in high school. He left and went to college for Automotive Technology at Pittsburg State University in Kansas. He came back to Sallas to work as a technician for a short time until in 2014 Noel joined the Army and became a paratrooper. After 6 years in the Army he returned back to Kansas City with his wife and daughter ready to start his career again find his way back to Sallas for a 3^rd time! Noel enjoys working closely with customers to figure out what their needs are and solving their problems. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his family and working on projects around the house.

Robert Morse

Robert Morse, or should we say “Supertech”, is one of our ASE Master Certified Technicians at Sallas Auto Repair. Robert is an integral member of the Sallas Auto Repair team. His nickname around the shop is fitting, as he is one of the most knowledgeable, speedy, efficient and experienced technicians in the world. As a 16-year-old, Robert worked at a car lot in Santa Cruz, CA and then for Ford Motor Company and other auto repair shops. In his spare time, Robert trades working on cars for working on computers and hangs out with his family. His guarantee to Sallas customers is that when he works on their vehicle, it leaves the shop in top shape.

Zach Scheller - Technician

Zach is a Certified Technician and has been with us 2009. He loves helping people and you can count on his thoroughness and attention to detail. Zack loves anything that has to do with Jeeps and rigging them. He also loves looking for gemstones and shooting guns.

Todd Roland

Start date - 6/25/18
Todd is a Master Certified Technician and been using his mechanical skills since 1992. Todd’s hobbies are shooting guns and good family time on the weekends Todd is an integral member of the Sallas Auto Team.

Lake Crookham

Start date - 10/17/18 
Lake is a Certified Technician and been a technician since 2010. Cars racing and paint ball

Kolin Sibbit

Start date - 7/8/19
Kolin is a Certified Technician and has been in this industry since 2015 and has proven to be very good and detailed in all his work and takes good care of our customer’s vehicles.
Kolin’s hobbies are hot rods and shooting guns on his free time.

Jill Mitchell

Jill Mitchell is Sallas with a smile. It could be because she’s a grandma of a precious four-year-old. Or that she loves working on her lawn. Or, it could be because she has a ton of fun working at Sallas Auto Repair. With over 20 years of experience in the administrative business, Jill keeps all of our “t’s” crossed and “i’s” dotted. She’s a utility player, as she can be found answering the phone, processing paperwork or even giving customers a ride. Jill carries our commitment to really care for each customer. She’s always pleasant, smiling and ready to listen to whatever they have to say.

Nick Sallas

Nick Sallas had a dream, but instead of building a baseball field in green pastures, he set out to open an auto repair shop that provided excellent work and superior service. Native to Kansas City, he started Sallas Auto in 1993 and has grown the business into a successful two-location repair shop over the past 30 years. Nick’s always been a “car guy.” His training with GM, Goodyear, Honda, Ford, Chrysler, as well as his ASE Master Technician certification makes him one of the smartest guys in the business. Plus, he’s a great boss, too. Nick’s commitment to treat each staff member like family has led him to have one of the most committed teams of mechanics, many who’ve been with the company over 20 years. His family-like atmosphere transfers to his customers with his personal promise to treat each customer like family through respect and honesty. As a family man, Nick also loves spending time with his wife Carla, watching his kids play soccer and vacationing.

Carla Sallas

No auto repair shop is complete without a leading lady, and for Sallas Auto that gal is Carla Sallas. Carla works alongside her husband, Nick Sallas, who got her interested in the automotive business as a head-over-heels in-love 21-year-old. Carla joined the team in 1999 to bring her corporate experience to the Sallas team and oversee the customer service, human resources and marketing plan. (She's the brains behind our wonderful coupons!) She’s passionate about carrying out the Sallas mission and vision of doing things “right” in the customer’s eyes. She’s thankful for the personal relationship her family has developed with many customers in order to provide them an excellent educational experience (and not a sales pitch.) When she’s not getting to know customers and making sure the team is going above and beyond expectations, Carla’s involved in raising her two girls in a solid Christian foundation and spending time in the mountains and on sunny family vacations at the beach.
